A house by the mythical spring creek in Patagonia

BOOK YOUR TRIP

This land has never been tame.

Arroyo Pescado sits on land that was once the frontier of Welsh Patagonia. In 1909, Welsh engineer Llwyd ap Iwan was killed here in a violent encounter with American outlaws — believed to be associates of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid gang. Before it was a spring creek, it was a frontier. Before it was exclusive, it was dangerous. That history is still in the land. This is not background information. It is the product. The Welsh settlers came to the edge of the known world and built something from nothing. Founders Season guests arrive at the same moment — to a place full of history and with a huge future. You will not just visit. You will be part of its new beginning.

PATAGONIA, ARGENTINA

This is a place for those who value consistency over accumulation.

At Arroyo Pescado, the waters change —creeks, rivers, lakes—
but the pulse remains the same.
Days without imposed schedules, sustained focus,
and enough time to tune into each place.

The experience is not built by collecting locations,
but by staying long enough
to read each water with care
and let each day find its own rhythm.

Mornings

The day begins when it begins, without being marked.

Each outing is decided in the moment.
There is no urgency or rigid planning,
only time to read the water calmly
and let the day take its shape.

Days

Hours unfold in gentle movement.
Rivers, creeks, or lakes — the setting changes,
but the way of being remains.

Focus is constant, attention sustained.
There is time to insist, to observe,
to understand each place without rushing it.

It is not about covering distance,
but about staying long enough
for each water to begin to speak.

Evenings

The house becomes the point of return.

Meals are shared simply.
Unhurried conversation, comfortable silences,
as the day gradually settles.

Rest comes without summaries or conclusions.
Only the sense of having been there,
and the ease of doing it again the next day.

The table is part of the day’s rhythm.

It does not set schedules or mark special moments — it accompanies.

People eat together, conversation happens if it wants to,
and silence has its place too.
The table does not seek to impress.
It is there to hold the day
and restore the energy needed for what comes next.

Spaces designed to be lived in with ease, to rest, and to return outdoors.

Rooms are comfortable, warm, and quiet.
Everything is arranged so the surroundings remain the focus.

Outside, the landscape opens without interference:
wide valleys, open skies, nearby water.
An environment that does not impose itself,
yet is always present.

This place is for those who are comfortable with silence
and who find value in simple, unhurried days.

For those who enjoy sustained focus, time without rigid schedules, and a direct relationship with the surroundings.

For people who understand that an experience is not measured by quantity,
but by the depth with which each day is lived.
