On February 6, 2027, an annular solar eclipse will cross Patagonia and transform the sky above Arroyo Pescado.
The event will also mark the opening of the estancia’s new lodge. For three days and two nights, a limited number of guests will come together in this private corner of Chubut to experience the eclipse through nature, astronomy, hospitality and a carefully curated program of activities.
This is not simply a place from which to watch the eclipse. It is a place in which to experience it.
A rare moment in time
During an annular solar eclipse, the Moon passes in front of the Sun without covering it completely, leaving a luminous ring visible in the sky.
On February 6, 2027, this rare phenomenon will pass across Patagonia. At Arroyo Pescado, guests will experience it surrounded by mountains, open land and the profound silence of the estancia.
The eclipse will last only a few extraordinary minutes. The journey surrounding it will unfold over three days.

The sky begins at the horizon
Arroyo Pescado lies within 12,000 hectares of private Patagonian land, far from cities, artificial light and urban horizons.
Its open valleys and uninterrupted skies create a natural setting for observing the eclipse. Here, the landscape does not merely provide a backdrop. The changing light, the mountains, the water and the scale of the land become part of the event itself.
The eclipse is the moment. Arroyo Pescado is the place.

Three days shaped around the sky
The experience will begin on February 5 and continue through February 7, bringing together astronomy, nature, hospitality and culture.
Every element will be designed to build toward the eclipse while allowing guests to experience the wider landscape and spirit of Arroyo Pescado. The program is expected to include:
- Astronomical observation
- Contemplative walks
- Horseback riding
- Fly fishing
- E-bike exploration
- Yoga and wellness
- Patagonian gastronomy
- Live music
- Fireside gatherings

A temporary home in the landscape
For the eclipse, Arroyo Pescado will combine the new lodge with a limited luxury glamping experience created specifically for the event.
- Fully equipped private tents
- Premium bathrooms and hot-water showers
- Shared hospitality spaces and lounge areas
- Communal fire pits and quiet corners
The temporary structures will be removed after the event following low-impact environmental practices.

The experience continues on the land
The eclipse may be the reason for the journey, but Arroyo Pescado is what gives it meaning.
Between moments of observation, guests will be invited to discover the rivers, trails, horses, history and daily life of the estancia. Days will move between exploration and stillness, shared meals and open landscapes, with time to experience Patagonia beyond the event in the sky.
Long after the light returns, the memory of the place will remain.
Created for a moment. Designed with respect for what remains.
The eclipse experience will be developed with a low-impact approach and careful integration into the natural landscape.
The intention is not simply to leave as little trace as possible, but to ensure that the experience respects the landscape that makes it possible.
