Everything you need to know before confirming a stay with us. If anything is unclear, our team is always happy to help.
Stays & rates
Rates for Arroyo Pescado and River House Patagonia are quoted per person, per night, in US dollars, and vary by program (fishing or leisure), room type and season. Both lodges require a minimum stay of three nights. Exclusive use of either lodge (up to 12 guests) is available on request.

What is included
Arroyo Pescado & River House Patagonia
- Accommodation with full board and all beverages offered at the lodge, including open bar
- Bilingual personal assistance
- Airport transfers (Esquel for Arroyo Pescado; Chapelco, San Martín de los Andes, for River House)
- Trekking around the estancia
- Fishing program: guided fishing
- Leisure program: horseback riding and one guided activity per person, per day
- River House: unlimited access to the gym and spa (sauna and hot tub)
Not included
- Massages, yoga classes and tango lessons (fishing program)
- Laundry
- Medical and travel insurance
- Fishing equipment (available to rent at the lodge, USD 40 per angler per day)
- Daily fishing licence (USD 45 per angler)
- Any other service or activity not specifically mentioned in your booking confirmation
Booking & payment
Reservations are confirmed on a first paid, first served basis and cannot be held without a deposit.
- To secure your dates, a 50% per-person deposit is required within 10 days of your booking request.
- Payment in full is required 90 days before your arrival date.
- Reservations are requested and confirmed by email at sales@theriverhousegroup.com.
Cancellation policy
All cancellations must be received in writing at sales@theriverhousegroup.com.
- More than 120 days before arrival: deposits are fully refundable.
- Between 119 and 91 days before arrival: 20% of the deposit is retained as a cancellation fee.
- Within 90 days of arrival: reservations and payments are non-refundable.
Any costs incurred in refunding a deposit, such as wire transfer fees, are borne by the guest and deducted from the refund. Receipt of payment confirms acceptance of this policy.
Travel insurance
We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance with trip cancellation coverage within 14 days of your first deposit.
Gratuities
Gratuities are entirely at each guest’s discretion. As a guideline, gratuities for the house staff typically range from USD 30 to 50 per night, per room, and can be left in an envelope with our hostess. Gratuities for guides are usually given directly to them and generally range from USD 80 to 100 per day.
