Arroyo Pescado Made It to ESPN

We don't need to tell you how special Arroyo Pescado is. This time, it wasn't a magazine — it was ESPN.
Aguas Arriba, ESPN Latin America's fly fishing show, has spent 18 seasons filming across Patagonia. This season, they picked our water to shoot. Out of every river, spring creek, and estancia across the region, they chose Arroyo Pescado. That's not a small thing.
Why a crew that's seen it all picked our water
Aguas Arriba doesn't need help finding good rivers — they've been filming fly fishing across the whole of Patagonia for almost two decades, and fishing it for even longer. When a team with that much water under their belt shows up at your front door with cameras, it's a pretty strong signal you're doing something right.
They spent their days on the estancia the same way our guests do: sight-fishing gin-clear pools, working technical water that doesn't forgive a sloppy cast, and taking in the kind of silence you don't find on rivers that see real pressure. No shortcuts, no staged shots — just the water and the fishing, the way it actually happens here.
See what a few days here actually look like
Rather than tell you about it, we'd rather show you. The episode gives a real sense of the rhythm of a trip to Arroyo Pescado — the water, the estancia, the days on the river.
Why this matters for you
Between the Fly Fisherman Magazine feature and now ESPN choosing to film here, the same story keeps repeating itself: this is water worth traveling for, told by people who didn't need to be convinced. We've spent the last year building Arroyo Pescado around exactly that — the estancia, the guides, the history, the fishing. Seeing outlets like these land on it independently just confirms we're not the only ones who see it.
If you've been thinking about a Founders Season date, this is your sign. The water keeps getting more attention, and the season only has so many spots to give.
